In his photo project "Young Guns" British photographer Jasper White gives us a glimpse into the bedroom Israeli conscripts or, as they call themselves, "fighters" - boys and girls who went to military service at the age of 18 years. At the time of the call they receive weapons that will be in them constantly during the entire service life (3 years).
Working in Israel with the local assistant, recently graduated from military service, White has gained access to the rooms of young men aged 18 to 22 years. At first glance, these rooms seem pretty normal teenager's room ... until your mind does not fall on a frightening weapon. The presence of machine guns and pistols of soft toys and other "children" things said about both innocence and its loss. And the weapons has long been an integral part of the culture of ordinary young people in Israel.
